Worth knowing: Same day or next day delivery only, and it's an online exclusive, so you can't walk in and ask for it. One per customer, while stocks last.

Iceland has a minimum spend on delivery orders, plus a pick and pack fee. So the penny tub only makes sense as part of a shop you were doing anyway.

Handy coincidence: the Heinz offer further down can also be claimed at Iceland, as cashback rather than money off at the till.

What is it? Dunelm's super soft fitted sheet. Coal or soft olive. Single is £1.50, super king is £3.50.

How much? £3.50 for the super king, £1.50 for the single.

Worth knowing: Free click and collect only, and stock depends on the store, so check yours has it before you set off. There's no delivery option at this price.

It's 100% brushed polyester rather than cotton, which is why it's this cheap. Light, quick drying, and it'll hold static more than cotton does. For a spare room or a kid's bed that gets stripped weekly, it's hard to argue with at the price.

What is it? Buy one main, get the second for £1. Covers Classic and Leggera pizzas, salads and Al Forno dishes. The cheapest main in the order is the one that drops.

How much? £1 for the second main, or £1.95 if it's a Romana.

Worth knowing: Runs until closing on Sunday 25 October, every day including weekends. Works dining in, on click and collect, and on their delivery service.

Two routes. Club app members check in at the table, enter the table number, then pick the offer before paying. Everyone else gets a code by email from the offers page, shown to staff before the bill. The bit people get caught by: one code covers one redemption, so a table of four ordering four mains needs two codes. Sort that before you sit down.

What is it? New Asda online grocery customers get £20 off a first order of £60 or more.

How much? £20 off, so a third of the shop.

Worth knowing: You have to register and opt into marketing during signup by 11.59pm on Wednesday 30 September. The code arrives by email within a couple of hours, and the order has to land by 11.59pm on Wednesday 14 October.

Grocery only counts. If you've bought from Asda George online before but never done a food shop, you're still eligible. Some items don't count towards the £60, so check the basket total is clearing it on qualifying goods rather than on the headline number.

There's a second bit people miss: after the first order they send a voucher for free delivery on anything over £40 for the next 30 days.

What is it? £40 off a UK Center Parcs break with the code BOOK27, for stays from 2 January 2027.

How much? £40 off per unit of accommodation, up to three units on one booking. No minimum spend.

Worth knowing: You have to book by 11.59pm on Tuesday 13 October. UK parks only, not Ireland, and it won't stack with other offers. Spa suites are excluded.

Center Parcs almost never discounts, so this is worth having if you were going anyway. It's proportionally best on a cheap midweek or short stay, where £40 is a real dent rather than a rounding error on a £900 half term.

What is it? McDonald's runs free one-hour sessions for children aged 5 to 11, coached by FA-qualified coaches, at over 400 locations. Running until Sunday 25 October.

How much? Free, and genuinely free. No purchase, no obligation to buy anything.

Worth knowing: Book online first. England, Wales and Northern Ireland each have their own booking page. Scotland works differently, you contact your local region direct.

Up to five children per household. It's aimed at beginners rather than kids already in a club. Pan-disability, deaf and visually impaired sessions are available too. Children need their own kit and trainers, and a parent has to stay on site for the hour, so budget an hour of your own time as well.

Find a football session

What is it? A £1 off coupon for one tin of the flavoured Heinz Beanz range: Barbecue, Chilli, Cheesy, Tikka or Pizza. 390g tins.

How much? £1 off one tin.

Worth knowing: Three separate clocks on this. The offer runs to 2 November, but it stops at 10,000 coupons, whichever comes first. And once you've generated your coupon it lasts 7 days, so don't claim it until you're actually going shopping.

One coupon per person for the whole promotion, used in a single transaction. Tesco, Sainsbury's, Morrisons, Waitrose and Asda scan it at the till. Iceland does it as cashback instead, so you pay full price and claim it back.

What is it? Fairy 30 Minute Miracle Platinum Plus tablets, the ones with the gel centre. 130 in the box.

How much? £20.22, which is 16p a wash.

Worth knowing: This is Fairy's premium tablet rather than standard All-in-One, so compare against what Platinum Plus normally costs, not against own brand. Supermarket tablets are cheaper per wash and fine for most loads.

The "30 minute" part means they're built to work on a short cycle. Worth having if you actually use the quick wash, less so if you run a long eco cycle every time.

One the box won't tell you: in a hard water area, all-in-one tablets often still need dishwasher salt topping up. Cloudy glasses usually mean that rather than a bad tablet.

What is it? Women's regular fit long sleeve plaid flannel shirt, 100% cotton, lightweight rather than heavy brushed.

How much? £3.29.

Worth knowing: Reviewers consistently say the sizing runs small, so size up. Nobody complains about the fabric, the complaint is always that it's tighter than expected.

Amazon clothing prices move by size and colour and change through the day, so check the dropdowns. £3.29 is usually only on some of them.

Bus fares are being cut to £2. From 1 January 2027, single bus fares in England outside London will be capped at £2, down from the current £3, for the whole of 2027.

Two caveats. London was never part of the national cap, and several mayoral areas already run their own lower ones. And Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland set their own fares, so this is England only.
